This opportunity is intended for experienced producers and community leaders who are deeply aligned with the spirit, values, and responsibility of stewarding a cultural festival.
Licensed producers are entrusted to bring Taste of Africa® to their local communities while honoring the artists, traditions, and audiences that give the festival its meaning.
The Licensed Festival Model
Cheza Nami Foundation is the owner and steward of the Taste of Africa® brand. Through licensing, approved producers are granted permission to present the festival in their region under established brand and cultural standards. This model allows Taste of Africa® to grow while remaining rooted in respect, collaboration, and accountability.

Taste of Africa® licensing is best suited for producers who:
Have experience producing large-scale cultural or community events

Licensing & Stewardship
Licensing includes brand usage, cultural guidelines, and ongoing stewardship to ensure consistency and integrity across all Taste of Africa® festivals. Financial terms, operational expectations, and support structures are shared during the assessment process and formalized through a licensing agreement.
